Drink Milk and Eat Pistachios

It has come to that point in life where the only important thing is to drink milk and eat pistachios. That is a complete protein, isn't it? I have had some health problems in the past, and though they have created some animosity among my family members, they still helped me grow as a person. Now, it is May and the weather is beautiful, there was just a light rain in a beautiful town called Lubbock, and things seem to be going pretty well. Despite my occasional sleep problem (which could be monthly like the menstrual period), I have remained a giver. Sending letter, drawing, whatever it takes to give to a world that helped me live 21 years without doing anything too dramatic. For now, I will just wait outside the hotel pool and see what I can see on the interwebs of this vast magnanimous thing we call life.

Weaves of Inquiry (excerpt from rough draft)

11/15/2011 The following is a piece written from the notebook that served as the outline to my recent novella, Weaves of Inquiry .  Though it hasn't been professionally published, the file and physical rough draft still remain.  If you are interested, throw me an e-mail. My positive mental feedback dropped like the pit being extracted from a plum.  I confess, I was sad.  I sat sewing, observing the needles swift movements from one side to the next, from the rest of a sleeve that would eventually keep my cousin's arm warm.    Although I am black, my cousin is Jewish.  My mother was adopted at a very young age and married a fellow African.  Somehow she was lucky enough to get adopted into a Jewish family.  The stereotype dissolved and every African attribute seemed to vanish, as she was formed into her new family.  Then, I was born:  A free spirit, wild and adventurous, ready for action.  Well, that is an exaggeration. ...

Quite a Day

It has gotten to the point that every day is kom say kom saw a celebration (more or less).  I attribute this to meditation and spirituality.  Petetra pas (maybe not)? Also I have been reading some really interesting things. Everything I hear comes from God and everything I read comes from God, which means that in this phase of 25 years (which I select as my learning phase), I will just keep my eyes and ears open. Today I went to the Lazy River in Lubbock Texas, a pretty much college student atmosphere where the libido is OUT OF THIS WORLD.  People are steaming out of the ears with libido. In other words: so many hot chicks.  I played basketball with one of them. I figure eventually I will settle down with a girl, maybe not the one of my dreams. I do wonder about that day, when it comes. I am glad I have reverted back to my old blog, the 'light' one is basically philosophical ramblings, and I'm sure I will return to that eventually. If you are a family...

Impressions

Impressions from last night's NONVIO EVENT: 1. I am Hanuman, the monkey deity. 2. Some people believe I am similar to Narayana, a form of Vishnu (my name is Noah, similar pronunciations.) 3. Awesome people including congress-homies from Illinois. 4.  GORGEOUS ladies, though only a few peaked my interest. I respect women, including my Mom, but I maintain that both sexes instigate violence in this society.  It is a good society, ever changing, but to acknowledge that men and women are void of superiority in all shapes and forms is necessary to the Peace process. Many said there would be a spiritual revolution after 2012.  I have only one opinion on this:  there have been many so called "Spiritual Revolutions," and they all have involved sacredness, sacrifice, and suffering.  Though this day and age experiences acts of terrorism, a general shift may be taking place, because of the saturation (so MUCH) knowledge and information infecting people's minds a...

Breather going well

As some people have said, I am taking a "Breather from school."  I think that is a good way to describe it.  This 1 year off of school is very important and in my opinion essential to my education as a whole. Ever since kindergarten, when I got a detention for saying the word "Sex", I knew that there was something wrong with the education system. As I gradually got older, I eased into it, and realized that it was a wonderful utility of bringing kids of similar ages together to have fun and figure out life. These days, missing school, and at the same time glad I'm taking a break;  I think of all the times when I was doing what my parents told me to do and not doing such things, and also doing what my teachers told me to and not.  I think in all of these scenarios, my teachers and parents were proud regardless.   They may have reacted in various ways, anger, sadness, hugs, kisses, but they always felt like I was growing up in a certain way. Now, without a ...

Taxes: COMPLETE!

It's that time of year again, to file the taxes, and guess what?  I filed them with little to no problem, and the refund is bigger then expected!  Now, who's to know whether the IRS will come knocking on my door, or I will have some scandal in 40 years when I'm trying to run for office, but this is the first ever time I have filed my taxes completely by myself (with the exception of calling my mom to ask if she claimed me as a dependent.)!  Who needs a tax preparer!  Well, I guess if you are a megalomillionare then it might be useful... In other news, I started living on a farm not too long ago, and this past week me and the head farmer built a 16x12 greenhouse by ourselves with completely recycled material (material lying around on his property.)  The only thing he bought is nails.  This inspired an ambition for me to build a nice wood cabin in my mom's concrete slab in the back yard, although who knows when that is going to happen. Maybe when I...

Hollow Pumpkin Farm

Howdy homies!  I recently moved to work full time on an organic farm in Southern Illinois.  So far it is wonderful.  The greatest activity has been climbing apple trees and cutting off suckers (an unwanted growth that takes energy from the apples).  I feel like a monkey and a character from crouching tiger hidden dragon.  I even came up with an idea for a TV show series (if not an internet series). Jerry Seinfeld recently came out with an Internet series called Comedians in Cars getting Coffee.  I would like to broadcast something like Naked People in Trees Eating Bananas. What do you think? Happy blogging and make sure to get out into nature this winter because it is quite nice. BYE!!
